A man has been taken to hospital after a "serious" crash between a car and lorry on a busy Nottinghamshire road.
The A60 Loughborough Road has been closed in both directions following the crash at about 12:00 GMT on Friday.
Nottinghamshire Police said the driver of the car had been taken to hospital but the seriousness of his injuries was not known.
The force said the road, near Ruddington, had been closed from the Nottingham Knight roundabout to Ashworth Avenue and was likely to remain closed for "some time".
A police spokesperson said: "Traffic is being diverted and motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible while the incident is being dealt with."
