A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder

A man suffered life-changing injuries following a serious assault in Bath, police have said.
Officers and paramedics attended the incident on Sheridan Road at 09:00 BST on 30 April.
The victim, who is aged in his 40s, was taken to hospital with "non life-threatening" injuries.
A 36-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in police custody.

Police are conducting a 'thorough investigation'
Police have now moved to reassure the local community.
Neighbourhood Inspector Jon Nash said: "We recognise that this is a very concerning incident and we are conducting a thorough investigation into what happened."
