A man has been jailed for two and a half years after breaching his sexual harm prevention order.
Essex Police said Adan Bath, 41, was originally given a suspended sentence in October 2023 when he was found guilty of three counts of attempting to engage in sexual communications with a child.
He was also given a 10-year sexual harm prevention order (SHPO), but police said he had breached it on "numerous occasions".
Bath, of no fixed address, admitted all 13 counts of breaching his SHPO and he was sentenced at Chelmsford Crown Court on Wednesday.
He had been told to notify police of any accounts on chat forums, messaging websites and electronic chat applications as part of his SHPO.
Bath also had to use his real name on social media.
But Essex Police said he had breached the order by selling a device in Harlow, failing to disclose his use of networking and dating platforms and by deleting messages and browsing history.
Officers had checked his device during a routine visit and found he had been using a family member's phone.
Jai Rivers, who manages sexual and violent offenders, said: "Bath thought he could ignore and try to manipulate these restrictions, but that is not the case."
