Crawley Borough Council hopes the new road layout will improve the Boulevard for all road users
The work is to allow an extra bus lane, which it is hoped will increase the flow of traffic and speed up bus journey times.
There will also be new cycle lanes, which will link with those already installed at the eastern section of the Boulevard.
