Driver rescued after car falls on to beach

A driver has been rescued from a car which fell from a Cornish beach car park on to the rocks below, Devon and Cornwall Police said.

Emergency services freed the man from the blue Audi in West End, Marazion, after they were called to the incident at about 13:00 GMT on Friday.

The man was taken to hospital but police could not confirm what injuries he had suffered.

The car has now been removed from the scene.

Ambulance, coastguard, police and fire crews all attended, police said.
