The family of a woman who died in a car crash in Staffordshire have paid tribute to her, remembering her as "a loving nana".

Kay Colley, aged 77, was a passenger in a Ford Fiesta which was involved in a crash with a Kia Picanto and a Fiat 500, on Cheadle Road in Forsbrook, near Stoke-on-Trent, just before 16:30 BST on Sunday.

Ms Colley, from the Trentham area of the city, was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.

In a statement, her family said: "Kay Colley, a loving mum to John and Tracy and loving nana to Georgia."

Staffordshire Police said: "Specially-trained officers continue to support Kay's loved ones at this traumatic time."

Witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage of the incident is asked to contact the force.

Two men and a second woman who were also hurt in the crash suffered injuries which were not serious and were discharged at the scene, West Midlands Ambulance Service said.
