More than £480,000 is being spent improving roads and footpaths in an East Yorkshire town.
Surfaces on Hollym Road and Queen Street in Withernsea will be upgraded over the next four months.
The work will be carried out in three phases, with the first between the Tesco roundabout and the Willows Holiday Park starting on Monday.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council said about 2,000 tonnes of road material would be used in the project.
The first phase is expected to last eight weeks and temporary traffic lights will be in place.
Phase two is scheduled to start on 4 December and will see Hollym Road closed overnight from 18:00 to 00:00 GMT.
The final phase runs from 12 December until 20 December and will see temporary traffic lights on Queen Street and Hollym Road.
The council said further work would be carried out in the new year, finishing on 21 January.
Councillor Paul West said: “Thanks to residents and drivers in advance for bearing with us while we carry out work in this area.
“Improving these roads and paths is essential to benefit the community.”
