A road in Shropshire will be closed for a week for resurfacing early next month.

The road from Hardwicke Grange Farm to the junction with Shotton Lane in Hadnall will be closed between 08:00 GMT and 09:00 from 4 to 8 November.

A signed diversion will be in place, and access to properties and businesses will be maintained when it is safe to do so, Shropshire Council said.

People are being asked not to park on the road during the day while the work is under way.

The council said all planned roadworks were subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

Any changes will be displayed on yellow warning signs and on the One Network website.

During the work, access will only be allowed to local residents who live and reside within the road closure, businesses within the closure, pedestrians, dismounted cyclists, horse riders and emergency vehicles.
