Man charged with murder of wife at London home

A man has been charged with the murder of his wife at their home in east London.

Police and paramedics were called to Cranham Road in Hornchurch at about 01:00 BST on Saturday where they found Agne Druskienea with stab wounds. The 40-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, the Metropolitan Police said.

Augustinas Druskis, 43, was arrested at the scene and is due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates' Court on Monday.

The victim's family is being supported by specialist officers, the Met added.
