A 41-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of David Graham, who was found with fatal injuries on a street in South Lanarkshire.

Mr Graham, 38, from Cambuslang, was walking alone in General’s Gate in Uddingston when he was attacked at about 19:30 on Sunday.

He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow but was pronounced dead on arrival.

Another man, Liam Kippen, 29, appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court charged with murder on Thursday. He was remanded in custody.
