An area of a park in Slough where human remains were found five days ago is expected to stay cordoned off by police for several more days.

Parts of Herschel Park, Slough, Berkshire were sealed off after the remains were found shortly after 13:00 BST on Sunday.

Tents have been set up in the park and cordons are expected to stay "into next week", Thames Valley Police said.

No further information about the person or the circumstances of their death has so far been released.

No details of the victim have been given by Thames Valley Police.

Thames Valley Police said the death was currently being treated as unexplained.

The force is urging anyone with information to come forward.
