Anglian Water says a burst main that created rushing water on footpaths might not be fixed until the end of the week.
The incident began over the weekend when water was seen gushing into an underpass below Eastern Way in Daventry, Northamptonshire.
The water covered footpaths in the town's country park.
Water has now stopped leaking onto the paths but Anglian Water says customers in Daventry and Norton could experience low pressure until Friday.

Work has started to repair the leak at the junction of Eastern Way with Norton Road
Engineers were now on site but Anglian Water said it was waiting for specialist equipment to be brought in.
The company says it will provide updates on its website, external.
