Pair charged with man's shooting murder

Two more men have been charged with murdering a man who was shot on a Merseyside street.

Rikki Berry, 36, died in hospital after the attack in Quarryside Drive, Kirkby, Knowsley, on the evening of 17 July.

Connor Walsh, 26, of Simonswood Lane, Kirkby, and Michael Smith, 26, of no fixed address, have been remanded in custody.

They are due to appear at Wirral Magistrates’ Court later.

Police previously arrested 11 other people, including Adam Williams, of Bigdale Drive, Kirkby, who has also been charged with murder.

He is due to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on 1 November.

Officers are continuing to appeal for information and for witnesses to come forward.
