Snow and ice warning issued for Norfolk and Suffolk

- Published
The Met Office has issued a yellow snow and ice warning for Norfolk and Suffolk overnight and into Thursday.
With temperatures dropping, wintry showers on Wednesday could bring a risk of ice which may lead to some disruption, it said.
Snowfall of up to 2cm could occur in some places, with ice forming on untreated surfaces.
Drivers are advised to pack warm clothing, water, food, warning triangles, hi-vis vests and phone chargers.
Pedestrians and cyclists are asked to take extra care and to stick to main roads and pavements, which should have been gritted.
Temperatures are expected to rise for the weekend, but it is likely to remain cold, wet and windy.
