Firefighters have rescued three people from a car that mounted a bank on the edge of the road in St Ouen on Tuesday night.

The crash happened on Le Mont Matthieu at about 19:00 GMT where the car was found "in a precarious position", Jersey Fire and Rescue Service said.

Officers said the people inside were unharmed and worried the car would roll if they got out.

Crews anchored the vehicle to the ground so the driver and their two passengers could get out safely.
