Calf rescued after falling into slurry pit

Fire crews have rescued a calf that fell into a slurry pit in Shropshire.

They were called to a farm in Pontesbury at just after 06:00 GMT.

Firefighters from Minsterley and Wellington used an inflatable raft and dry suits to reach the animal.

It was pulled free from the pit after about an hour.
