Two people escaped with minor injuries after a small private plane crashed at an airfield in Somerset.

Emergency services were called at 13:05 GMT after the microlight aircraft flipped while attempting to land at Westonzoyland Airfield in Bridgwater.

Two people were taken to Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton to be treated for minor injuries, according to South Western Ambulance Service.
