The family of a motorcyclist who died following a crash on an Aberdeenshire road has paid tribute to him, describing him as a "larger than life character".
Dylan Boon, who was 29 and from the Ellon area, was involved in a collision with a car on the A97 Glenkindie to Kildrummy road at about 16:00 on Sunday.
The driver of the car, a 28-year-old woman, and her passenger, a woman aged 56, were treated for minor injuries.
Mr Boon's family said he was loyal, funny and hardworking, and would be missed by his many friends and family.
The crash involved a blue Honda CRB motorbike and a white Volkswagen Touareg.
Police have appealed for information.
Mr Boon's family said: "Dylan was a larger-than-life character who was loyal and hardworking.
"He loved anything with an engine and always lived his life to the fullest. He was very funny and had a laugh in everything he did.
"Words can't describe how much he will be missed by his many friends and family."
Sgt Sarah Ritchie, of Police Scotland's north east road policing unit, said "Our thoughts are with Dylan's family and friends at this difficult time.
"Our investigation into the crash is still ongoing and I would again ask that anyone who has any information regarding the movements of the vehicles involved who hasn't already spoken to police to contact us, external."
