There have been no injuries after a bus caught fire at a petrol station overnight.

East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service (ESFRS) was called at 02:09 BST on Monday to a blaze at a petrol station on Brighton Road, Lewes.

A bus had caught fire which also affected the shop at petrol station, which is between Lewes and Falmer, ESFRS said.

Four fire engines from Preston Circus, Hove and Roedean were called, Firefighters used six breathing apparatus, two foam jets, the aerial ladder and one main jet to tackle the fire. Crews left the scene at 05.07.
