Three charged with human trafficking offences

Three people appeared at Bristol Magistrates' Court earlier

Three people have appeared in court following an investigation into modern slavery.
Khondaker Fuad Hasan, 39, from Leicester, Liu Xu Hopkins, 55, from Bristol, and Benjamin Hopkins, 56, also from Bristol appeared at Bristol Magistrates' Court earlier.
They are charged with conspiracy in human trafficking, conspiracy to control prostitution for gain and conspiracy to transfer criminal property.
They were remanded in custody.
