Woman, 67, killed and teenagers injured in crash

A 67-year-old woman has died and two teenagers have been seriously hurt in a crash in Dumfries and Galloway.
All three were taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary after the incident on the A75 between Castle Douglas and Bridge of Dee at 20:50 on Saturday.
The woman who was driving a Ford Ka died in hospital. A 19-year-old man, who was driving a Seat Ibiza, and his 16-year-old female passenger were treated for serious injuries.
Sgt Lloyd Caven said: "Our thoughts are with the family of the woman who died. Our inquiries into the circumstances are ongoing."
