Drivers warned of city bridge partial closure

Only the lanes going over the bridge will be closed, drivers have been advised

A bridge at one of Nottingham's busiest junctions is due to close for a weekend, motorists have been warned.
National Highways said it was closing the northern section of the A52 at the QMC roundabout next month.
The work, which will run from 20:00 BST on 11 April to 06:00 on 14 April is to rewaterproof the bridge, the organisation said.
It forms part of a wider project to replace a damaged bridge at the junction and one of a number of schemes, external on the A52 which will run into 2026.
A National Highways spokesperson advised drivers that unlike during some previous work, Middleton Boulevard, its northbound entry slip road and the A52 Derby Road will remain open.
Imminent resurfacing and cycle lane construction between the Priory roundabout and the Queen's Medical Centre roundabout, which is expected to take 12 months, does not yet have a specific start date, they confirmed.
