A man has died in a fire at a flat in Greater Manchester.

FIrefighters were called to the blaze on Railway Road in Leigh at about 03:45 GMT.

Detectives have launched an investigation into the incident, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said.

The force said no arrests had been made, and asked people with any information to get in touch.
