A murder inquiry has been launched following the death of a man in the Harehills area of Leeds.
Police were called to St Wilfrids Crescent at about 12:00 BST on Wednesday following a report a man had been found with serious injuries.
He was pronounced dead a short time later and had not yet been identified, a West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said.
Cordons remained in place at St Wilfrids Crescent, Parkside View and Amberton Crescent to allow for investigations, while neighbourhood policing patrols had been increased, they added.
Police asked witnesses, or anyone with information, to get in touch.
