Two laundry bags full of what was suspected to be cannabis were discovered inside the property, police said

Two 21-year-old men have been arrested after police found laundry bags full of cannabis in Hyson Green.

Nottinghamshire Police said officers were on routine patrol in Berridge Road West on Monday when two men carrying suspicious-looking packages approached a parked car.

One of the suspects went inside a property, where police found two laundry bags full of what was suspected to be cannabis, along with cocaine, mobile phones and sim cards.

The two men were arrested on suspicion of possession with the intent to supply cannabis and possession of cocaine.
