Police have begun an investigation after a man in his 20s died at a house in Coventry.

Officers were called to Ambleside, a cul-de-sac in the Potters Green area, by paramedics just after 09:40 BST on Tuesday, said West Midlands Police.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said it found the man in a critical condition after being called to a medical emergency. Staff begun administering advanced life support but were unable to save him, it added.

The service said it treated two other men at the scene before they were taken to hospital in a stable condition. Police said the circumstances were being investigated.

"We are investigating the full circumstances, and inquiries are at an early stage," a force spokesperson said.
