Highland Council says further work is needed to one of Inverness' busiest roundabouts following the completion of earlier improvements.

Inshes Roundabout's exits provide access to routes leading to the A9 and A96, Raigmore Hospital, a large retail park and the city's Southern Distributor Road.

Earlier this month, the roundabout was resurfaced over six nights.

Highland Council has now said the site will need be closed from 23:00 on Thursday until 05:00 on Friday so road markings can be painted.
