New stadium and 3G pitch for non-league club

How the new stands and pitch at the Enclosed Ground could look

A non-league football club in Brighton will undergo major redevelopment as it completely rebuilds its stadium and switches to a 3G pitch.
Whitehawk FC is celebrating its 80th anniversary and announced plans on Thursday for "the next big step" in its history.
The project also includes a small gym for boxing and fitness clubs, a refurbished clubhouse and bar, a new suite for hosting events and a fan zone.
Club joint-chairman John Summers said: "This is about more than bricks and mortar, it's about creating a space that brings people together, inspires the next generation and provides vital resources to one of the UK's most understated areas."

How the new entrance and parking facilities on the west of the ground could look
The club says it will upgrade the entrance, parking, security infrastructure, and install a 3G pitch with new floodlights at its ground in East Brighton Park.
The current stand on the west of the ground will be doubled in size and new stands will replace the scaffolded frame of The Din and the Sea End stands behind the goals.
A covered stand will be added to the east side of the ground, which is currently home to the dugouts and is inaccessible by fans.

The new fan zone will be based in the north west corner of the club
Work has already begun on building the fan zone, which will be called The Hawks Social and is a collaboration with Brighton's Bison Beer company.
It will host street food vendors, local musicians, DJ's and community events.
"With the active support of Brighton & Hove City Council, local businesses and the community, this exciting project is poised to set a new standard for what a community football club can achieve," said Mr Summers.
More information on progress and timeframes for the project will be available in the coming months, the club said.
Whitehawk currently play in the Isthmian League Premier Division.
