Football fans at a Worcestershire pub sang and chanted Ollie Watkins' name after his last-minute strike sealed England's victory over the Netherlands.

More than 200 fans watched the Euro 2024 semi-final together at The Three Lions free house in Stourport-on-Severn on Wednesday evening.

Led by a cheerleader at the front of the crowd, the fans chanted and danced after the Aston Villa striker secured England's place in Sunday's final.

Shane Jones, who was in the sports bar watching the game with his five sons, said: "What a win, what a result, absolutely brilliant."

Speaking to BBC Hereford and Worcester, he said the pub in Foundry Street was "the place to be".

"It's absolutely brilliant. The atmosphere, the staff," he said.

Mr Jones, a scrap metal dealer, praised England's performance and said they had played well.

"It means everything. We haven't played well through the group stages, but today, I think we needed that result - we showed what we can do and we showed we are a force to be reckoned with."

He added he would continue celebrating with his sons when he got home.

England will now face Spain in the final in Berlin on Sunday.

Gareth Southgate's side looked to be going into extra time for the third successive game until Watkins struck.

"It's lovely to see everyone leave so happy and know that they are coming back on Sunday for the final."

Mark Watton, from Worcester, was among England fans watching the semi-final at the ground in Dortmund, Germany, and said the atmosphere was "electric".

"I've never known anything like it," he said. "We were brilliant all through the tournament to be honest, but last night was just another level.

"The whole ground was just pumping."
