A road that has been partly closed for more than seven months is need of "complex repairs", according to a highways team.

One lane of the A1120 near the Cedars Park estate and Tesco in Stowmarket has been coned off due to flooding since Storm Babet in October.

Suffolk County Council's highways team said inspections had been done but until the drainage system had been repaired, the lane closure would remain in place.

A spokesperson for the council apologised for the "disruption caused".
