Brighton museum seeks artists for new project
Deadlines for submitting ideas for the spaces at Brighton Museum & Gallery close at midnight on 7 July.

One of Britain's oldest public museums is on the hunt for artists to help with a new project.
Brighton & Hove Museum is hoping artists can help decorate temporary areas which are being erected whilst renovation work is carried out.
"Urgent repairs" to a glass lantern are being carried out, and each side of the Brighton Museum & Gallery will be shut off to the public by large structural hoarding for around 10 months.
Kate Turnbull, head of digital, marketing and communications said they "want to ensure the space remains culturally interesting".
Artists are being invited to submit ideas for a large-scale mural for the hoarding at the south of the gallery which will be part of the temporary visitor route.
Another art installation is being planned for an area described by museum officials as the ‘tunnel’.
The museum have said the callout is open to artists of all backgrounds and the deadline to submit will close on 7 July at midnight.
