No plans to make nitrous oxide illegal in Guernsey

There are still no plans to make nitrous oxide illegal in Guernsey.
Possession of the drug, commonly known as laughing gas, is now illegal in England and Wales.
Teena Bhogal, chair of the misuse of drugs advisory group, said there was no evidence Guernsey had "the same challenges" as the UK with the substance.
The group said this would be reviewed if things changed.
Ms Bhogal, who is also the chief pharmacist for the States of Guernsey, said: "We have discussed the UK changes regarding nitrous nxide and members agreed that we would not be recommending any change to our legislation as there is no evidence of Guernsey having the same challenges with this substance as seen in the UK."
