A teenager has been arrested after a car crashed into the front of a home.

Suffolk Police was called at about 15:05 BST on Wednesday to Brooke Way in Stowmarket.

A grey Peugeot had come off the road and collided with a house.

An 18-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of dangerous driving, driving without a valid licence and driving without insurance.

The teenager was taken to Bury St Edmunds police investigation centre for questioning.

He has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.

The home's front door was damaged in the collision as well as its fence.

A temporary fence and door have since been put in place.

A structural engineer attended to assess damage to the property.
