Events to mark Remembrance Sunday in Cumbria

Council buildings, including Kendal Town Hall, have been featuring poppy displays

Events are taking place across Cumbria to mark Remembrance Sunday.
Several council buildings have been lit up in red, with council vehicles, local buses and trains also displaying poppies in the lead-up to commemorations on 9 November.
Cumberland Council and Westmorland and Furness Council will be flying the union jack at full mast from their buildings including at Carlisle, Whitehaven, Barrow and Penrith.
A service of remembrance is taking place at Kendal's Holy Trinity church at 09:30 GMT, followed by a parade to the war memorial at 10:30, where wreaths will be laid.
A Remembrance parade will be held betweeen Carlisle Castle to the city's cathedral at 10:00, followed by a service.
Barrow Town Council is holding its parade at 10:20 from the town hall, heading for the war memorial at Barrow Park.
A service, including a two-minute silence, is due to be held at 11:00. Residents are being encouraged to line the route.

A parade from St Andrew's Church in Penrith will set off at 10:40 and arrive at the war memorial at St Andrew's Churchyard for a service at 11:00.
Penrith Town Council will also hold an event at Penrith Beacon at 18:55.
The Last Post will be played and names of the fallen from the town read out. The church bells at St Andrew's will ring at 19:05.
Workington's parade will start from Pow Street at 14:00, heading to Vulcan Park for a service by the Cenotaph.
The event ends at the Jane Street Royal British Legion branch where Workington Town Council is providing free food.
Some road closures are expected to be in place while parades take place.
Cumberland Council has also launched a webpage promoting support available for the armed forces community.
Councillor Andy Semple, the council's chairman, said he hoped for a strong turnout on Sunday.
