Overnight road closures are due to affect one of the busiest parts of Inverness while resurfacing work is carried out.

Highland Council is planning maintenance work on Bridge Street and Castle Road over three nights starting on Monday 29 September.

Work on Castle Street would then begin on Thursday 2 October and after a break for the weekend would restart on Sunday 5 October for four nights.

Road closures would be in place between 20:00 and 06:00.
