Ipswich Town's boss will open a football club's new stand.

Needham Market FC said the Main Stand at the Bloomfields grounds, in Suffolk, would be officially opened by Kieran McKenna.

The club said the opening would take place prior to the Southern League Central Premier Division clash with Bury Town on 22 October.

In a statement on their website, external, they said: "This marks a significant moment in the club's history, celebrating the recent success of the club and our continued growth."

Volunteers who took time to make the event possible, as well as sponsors, will be celebrated at the opening.

The club said ticket details would be released in due course and supporters were advised to buy them online.
