A man accused of murdering his neighbour said "I'm not letting these terrorists run my street" ahead of the alleged attack, a trial has heard.
Abdulkadar Chadli, 48, was found dead with a single stab wound to the chest in Mousehold Street, Norwich, in November 2024.
Christopher Paxton KC, opening the case at Norwich Crown Court, said Elvis Vickers "was a man consumed with anger and hatred".
Mr Vickers, 46, of Mousehold Street, denies murder.

Abdulkadar Chadli died from a single stab wound
The defendant had a history of becoming "angry and volatile when he drinks", the court was told.
The jury heard that Mr Vickers had sent a message to his brother that read: "think I'm coming down with immigration-itus."
Another message referenced black people in a derogatory manner, and a further message referred directly to Mr Chadli.
The court was told about his anger over Subbuteo footballers being black. He had also messaged his brother about Tommy Robinson's conviction last year and said he "will have to take the law in our own hands – take out the trash".
Mr Paxton said that Mr Vickers's messages were "littered with words of hate and anger".

Police were called to Mousehold Street, Norwich, on 1 November last year
He told the jury the wound to Mr Chadli's chest was 11cm (4.4in) deep and was delivered with such "force and intent" that "it nicked his heart".
Mr Paxton said Mr Vickers had an "intent to kill" and rasied the question of how "you accidentally stab someone to death" with a wound that deep.
The trial continues.
