A family has paid tribute to a loving grandfather who was fatally stabbed outside his home.

David Dosa, 53, was pronounced dead on Farley Court in Luton at about 14:15 BST on 15 August.

In a statement released by Bedfordshire Police, his family said he was "a man who would go out of his way and would always be happy to help people".

A man has been charged over his death and is due to appear in court later this year.

"Our dad leaves behind two grandchildren that he loved," the statement said.

"He loved music and fishing and always enjoyed cooking.

"Always took us out exploring and to see new places when we were younger."

Yasar Hussain, 27, of Buxton Road in the town, has been charged with murder and possession of a bladed article.

He remains in custody and is next due in court on 11 November.
