Car thief wanted after crashing into parked cars

A car thief who crashed into parked cars in Liverpool before fleeing the scene is wanted by police.

It happened in the Anfield area at about 05:25 BST, Merseyside Police said.

The stolen Honda Jazz, which was taken from an address in Everton, hit two parked cars at the junction of Oakfield Road and Dacy Road.

Police said efforts to find the driver were continuing.
