A second man has been charged with manslaughter in connection with the death of a man during a burglary in Nottinghamshire.

Police were called to Lodge Lane, Tuxford, on 25 February where 22-year-old Taylor Green was found unresponsive outside and pronounced dead a short time later.

David McCandless, 44, of Wright Street, Newark, has been charged with manslaughter and aggravated burglary and is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates Court on Saturday.

Last week Mason Meanwell, 25, was charged with manslaughter after previously admitting aggravated burglary.

The Crown Prosecution Service previously confirmed the householder would not face charges in relation to Mr Green's death.
