Man bailed after woman suffers serious head injury
A woman was found badly hurt in Cheltenham on Friday

A man has been released on bail after a woman was found with a serious head injury.
The 64-year-old man, from Cheltenham, had been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm.
Gloucestershire Police officers were called to Montpellier Walk in Cheltenham at about 00:05 BST on Friday.
Police found the woman near Rotunda Terrace. She was taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition, where she remains. Enquiries are ongoing.
