A new permanent banking hub has been confirmed for a Lincolnshire town.

The premises will be located at 73 Seacroft Road in Mablethorpe and will offer a counter service operated by the Post Office.

Customers of all major banks will be able to carry out regular cash transactions from 09:00 to 17:00 BST, Monday to Friday.

Set up by Cash Access UK, it will offer a community banker service where customers can talk to their own bank.

Cash Access UK said it was "working hard to fit out the new premises" and progress, along with an opening date, would be shared through the Mablethorpe Banking Hub page, external on its website.

Community bankers will work on rotation, with NatWest on Mondays, Lloyds on Tuesdays, HSBC and Santander on Wednesdays, Halifax on Thursdays and Barclays on Fridays.

A temporary hub is in place at the Community Learning in Partnership on Seacroft Road until the new premises is up and running.

It is the second banking hub to open in Lincolnshire after Barton with a further hub set to open soon in Market Rasen, Cash Access UK said.
