A man is still recovering in hospital after a knife attack in Bristol, police have confirmed.

A second victim has been discharged following the stabbing at about 04:40 BST on Sunday near Stapleton Road, in Easton.

Eleven men arrested on suspicion of attempted murder have been released on conditional bail.

Avon and Somerset Police was granted enhanced stop and search powers in the area after the incident, with a major road closed.

There were three separate knife attacks in the city over the weekend, with officers called to Easton, Lockleaze and Keynsham.

Police said that a man arrested in connection with the incident on Sunday on Aesop Drive in Keynsham has also been released on conditional bail.

The force is continuing to appeal for information on all three incidents.
