A man has been told by a judge to expect a lengthy sentence after he was found guilty of rape.

The 25-year-old, who lives off Ollerton Road in Tuxford, was found guilty of two counts of rape and one count each of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, stalking, intentional suffocation, and possessing an imitation firearm.
He was found not guilty of one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The jury in the trial at Nottingham Crown Court returned their verdicts on Thursday.
Sentencing will take place at the same court on 20 September.
Judge Michael Auty KC told Beard: "Be under no illusion, the only sentence in this case is a lengthy sentence of imprisonment."
