Man charged with murder after farm death

A man has been charged with murder after the death of another man on a farm in Kent.

Police were called to reports of an assault on a farm off Nickle Lane in Chartham, near Canterbury, at 20:40 BST on Sunday.

A 51-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene and two men, who are known to the victim, were arrested, Kent Police said.

Robert Onicala, 20, of Ashford Road, Chartham, has since been charged with murder and affray.

Alexandru Onicala, 27, also of Ashford Road, Chartham, has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and affray.

Both men appeared at Folkestone Magistrates' Court on Wednesday and were remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on 3 June.
