Oasis tribute band reports bookings boost

An Oasis tribute band has said its bookings for gigs had "gone crazy" since the announcement of the real band's reunion tour.
Joe Birchley, lead singer of the act Supernova, said his Shropshire-based copycats were booked for shows up until 2025, playing at pubs and clubs.
The 40-year-old dad said he had been blown away by the demand.
"It's great to be part of it and at the forefront performing great songs - the gigs are always full of energy," Mr Birchley, from Worcester, explained.
"Since Monday everyone has gone crazy and I think it'll continue until the gigs next year," he added.
The real deal kicks off a comeback tour on 4 and 5 July at Cardiff's Principality Stadium.
Tickets go on sale on Saturday and like thousands around the country, Mr Birchley, a carpenter by day, is hoping to secure some.
"It's rare these days you get a band that changes the face of the country," he said.
"Whether it be the clothes that people wear, the haircuts they have or music that they like, Oasis did that to the culture of Britain."
He added: "As a married man with two children you shouldn't say it'll be the best day of your life but it will be up there.
"To be part of the crowd and feel the atmosphere around the venue, it will be a special day."
