A stretch of the M4 westbound has reopened after overnight roadworks overran.
The resurfacing work between Junction 12 for Reading and Junction 13 for Newbury was expected to finish at 06:00 BST.
National Highways said the planned works had taken longer than expected.
The motorway reopened shortly before 07:20. However the slip road onto the motorway at Junction 12 remains closed while the whites lines are painted onto the road.
