Teenager charged after weekend stabbing in Horsham

A teenager has been charged after a man was stabbed in West Sussex.

It happened outside Mungo's Bar in Park Place, Horsham, in the early hours of Saturday. The bar was closed at the time.

The victim, a 37-year-old man, was taken to hospital but has since been discharged.

An 18-year-old man from Crawley has been charged with committing grievous bodily harm, possession of a bladed article in public and possession of cannabis.

A 22-year-old man from Southwark in London, arrested on suspicion of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm, has been released on conditional bail.

Police have appealed for witnesses.
