Two men have been arrested after an early hours police chase in Bradford.

Officers pursued a Volkswagen Golf after its driver failed to stop when requested on Little Horton Lane at about 00:55 GMT on Saturday, according to West Yorkshire Police.

The vehicle came to a stop at the junction of Godwin Street and Sunbridge Road in the city centre about 15 minutes later.

A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, driving while over the prescribed limit and theft of motor vehicle, while a 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, police said.
