Woman admits causing deaths of two people in crash

A woman has admitted causing the deaths of two people in their 80s in a crash in Derby.
Police were called to the junction of Highfield Lane and Nottingham Road in Chaddesden, on 14 June 2023 after a collision.
Christine Line died at the scene, while William Line died later in hospital.
Jane Hunter-Priestley, 63, of Highfield Lane, admitted two counts of causing death by dangerous driving when appearing at Derby Crown Court on Thursday.
She is set to be sentenced at the same court on Monday.
